Salary Range: $ 35,318- $47,008

Project Summary:  The Education, Training, and Enhanced Services to End Violence Against and Abuse of Women with Disabilities Grant Program (Disability Grant Program) was created by the Violence Against Women Act of 2000 (VAWA 2000).  The goal of this program is to build the capacity of such jurisdictions to address such violence against individuals with disabilities through the creation of multi-disciplinary teams. 

Position Summary: Provide innovative and collaborative leadership that will foster timely implementation of goals and objectives of the collaborative partners and the Office on Violence Against Women (OWV) on the Disability Grant Program. Main responsibilities include: coalition building, strategic planning, group facilitation, writing protocols and charters, implementation of a community wide needs assessment, budgeting, and securing resources to ensure sustainability of the collaboration.  This is the final year of a 3-year grant funded position ending September 30, 2012.  Grant extension may be possible.
