Therapy Group for Adult Sexual Assault Survivors
Explore how sexual assault impacts you, your family, your partner and your friends. Unwanted sexual experiences can affect your emotional, physical, social and spiritual well-being. Group therapy is an effective way to heal from the trauma of sexual violence.
This 13-week group will provide:
• a safe, confidential environment to share feelings
• connection and support with others who have had similar experiences
• tools to help you work with difficult thoughts and feelings
• the opportunity to reconnect with your power and resourcefulness

Secondary Survivors Group
Having a close relationship with a person who has been sexually abused can have an emotional, physical, social and spiritual impact on your well-being. Participating in a group is a safe and effective way to cope with your feelings and receive education on how to support your loved one.
This 6-week group will provide:
· a safe, confidential environment to learn more about sexual abuse issues including information on the legal process
· connection and support with others who have had similar experiences
· Space to explore your feelings and needs

Art Therapy Groups
This is a safe place and group environment to help the healing after experiencing sexual assault and abuse. Through the use of painting, clay, collage, and writing you will have the opportunity to release, express, and regain wholeness. No art experience necessary.
MESA offers two Art Therapy Groups. One group is for female adult survivors of sexual assault and the second group is for teenage female survivors of sexual assault.

Wild at Heart
Horses and Healing Trauma: For those that have experienced sexual trauma.
Be a part of the mutual healing of horse and human. Moving to End Sexual Assault, Colorado Horse Rescue, and Wild at Heart are collaborating to partner individuals with a history of sexual trauma and horses who have experienced neglect and abuse. The extraordinary sensitivity of horses and their unique capacity to heal with patience and regain trust will inspire and challenge the work of men in recovery to regain mastery and confidence in their own lives. Each individual will partner with one horse for the duration of the group. No horse experience is required.
